----------------------------------------- the following status is now changed . ( September 08, 2011) ----------------------------------------

Dear JAL Valued Travel Partners:

Although passengers connecting from AA domestic flights to JAL international flights are able to check their baggage through to their final destination and will have their international flight boarding pass issued at the time of check in at the originating AA domestic airport, when a passenger transits at JFK to a JAL international flight, they will be required to go to JAL’s check-in counter where a replacement flight boarding pass will be issued by JAL.
Due to security requirements, passengers are unable to pass through security with an AA issued boarding pass for a JAL flight.

Please advise passengers transiting from AA domestic flights to JAL international flights (excluding code-share flights) of this procedure.
